In a recent court filing, Aimin Wen has brought a lawsuit against Brooke Rollins, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, alleging racial and national origin discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. The case, filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, Macon Division, accuses Rollins of discriminatory practices against Wen based on her Asian descent and Chinese origin. Wen claims she was subjected to unfair treatment compared to her white colleagues, including lower pay and termination without just cause. The complaint also highlights instances of racial bias from her supervisor and retaliatory actions following Wen’s complaints about discrimination. The plaintiff seeks damages amounting to at least $300,000 for each count of discrimination and retaliation.
