John Randall Futch has filed a lawsuit against Amazon and TPE Logistics Solutions, alleging workplace discrimination and retaliation. The complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Savannah on December 31, 2025. Futch, a Department of Transportation (DOT) truck driver, claims that he faced pervasive unwelcome conduct during his training at an Amazon facility in Savannah, Georgia. He alleges that an Amazon employee attempted to collide with him during a road test, setting the stage for further discriminatory actions.

Futch began working for TPE Logistics Solutions on August 12, 2025. According to his complaint, he was subjected to various forms of discrimination and harassment at his workplace located at 2367 Tremont Road in Savannah. He states that he was sent home without explanation on multiple occasions and received false violations from his truck camera. Additionally, Futch claims he was forced to ride with co-workers who engaged in illegal drug use and faced mandatory clock-outs for lunch when others did not have to do so.

The plaintiff argues that these actions were retaliatory measures taken after he reported illegal drug use by co-workers to management. He further alleges that TPE staff tried to force him into UDS training, which was not part of his job description as a box truck driver. Futch also accuses TPE and Amazon of creating an unsafe work environment by allowing other drivers to unplug their cameras while forcing him to drive with an active camera.

Futch’s complaint includes allegations against Amazon for its role in perpetuating the hostile work environment. He asserts that Amazon made false camera violations against him while driving a box truck for TPE and failed to address his complaints about workplace harassment and retaliation adequately. Furthermore, Futch claims that Amazon discriminated against him during the hiring process for a seasonal delivery partner position.

In seeking relief from the court, Futch is requesting compensatory and punitive damages totaling $10 million. He argues that he has suffered emotional distress due to the discriminatory actions taken by both TPE Logistics Solutions and Amazon. The plaintiff contends that these actions violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The case is being overseen by Judge RSB-CLR under Case ID 4:25-cv-00325-RSB-CLR. John Randall Futch is representing himself in this legal matter.
