In a lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Deborah D. Walters has accused Wiser Integrated Health Care System, Inc., The Renewal Group for Treatment and Counseling, Inc., and Christopher Waller of employment discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Walters alleges that shortly after being hired as an Office Manager in June 2023, she was subjected to sexual harassment by Waller, who is affiliated with both defendant companies. Despite rejecting his advances and reporting the behavior to human resources, Walters claims she faced retaliation, including reduced work hours and eventual termination in April 2024. Walters seeks damages for lost wages, emotional distress, and punitive damages.
