The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a lawsuit against C&M Defense Group, LLC and Global Security Management Team, LLC in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The case alleges that these companies subjected Marilyn LeGree to a hostile work environment based on her sex and retaliated against her after she complained about sexual harassment. According to the complaint, LeGree faced unwelcome sexual comments and advances from her supervisor, which escalated to threats of physical harm. Despite reporting this behavior, the EEOC claims that LeGree was reassigned to less favorable work hours and eventually terminated. The EEOC seeks remedies including back pay, compensation for losses, punitive damages, and an injunction against future discriminatory practices.
