Peter F. Klein, a former employee of a prominent auto group, has filed a lawsuit alleging age discrimination after being terminated from his position as Aston Martin Brand Manager. The complaint was filed on November 18, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against Krause Family Motor Auto Group, doing business as Motorcars of Atlanta.

Klein’s lawsuit centers around claims that he was unlawfully discriminated against due to his age, which led to his termination at the age of 65. He alleges that the company diverted sales opportunities away from him and tolerated derogatory remarks about his age and physical condition following a head injury. Despite consistently positive client reviews and maintaining required certifications, Klein contends that management applied performance standards inconsistently and replaced him with a significantly younger employee shortly after his dismissal.

The complaint details how Klein’s work environment became hostile when colleagues and supervisors began mocking him with terms like “old man” and “Grandpa,” particularly after he sustained an injury in December 2022. This behavior allegedly contributed to an environment where age-based ridicule was commonplace. Additionally, Klein accuses the company of ignoring its own lead-management policies by favoring younger employees in sales opportunities.

Klein seeks several forms of relief from the court, including reinstatement or front pay if reinstatement is not feasible, back pay for lost wages and benefits, liquidated damages due to willful violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and attorney’s fees. He also requests injunctive relief requiring the defendant to implement anti-discrimination training and revise their policies to prevent future occurrences.

Representing Klein are attorneys Gary R. Kessler from Atlanta, Georgia, and Frederick T. Kuykendall III from The Kuykendall Group LLC in Fairhope, Alabama. The case is presided over by Judge JPB-JEM under Case ID 1:25-cv-06615-JPB-JEM.
