A former employee is taking a stand against a global e-commerce giant, alleging severe workplace misconduct. Tobiloba Owolabi filed a complaint on December 23, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against Amazon.com Services LLC. The lawsuit accuses the company of failing to address sexual harassment and retaliatory practices that he endured during his employment.

According to the complaint, Owolabi began working at Amazon’s Ellenwood Warehouse in Georgia as an Area Manager in July 2024. He alleges that shortly after starting his job, he was subjected to unwanted sexual advances by his supervisor, Escarleth Parajon. The harassment included inappropriate comments about his body and repeated invitations to engage in sexual activities. Despite Owolabi’s clear rejection of these advances and requests for them to stop, Parajon allegedly continued her behavior, creating what Owolabi describes as a hostile work environment.

Owolabi claims that when he reported this behavior to Amazon’s Human Resources Department in September 2024, no effective action was taken. Instead, he faced retaliation from both Parajon and another manager, Enrique Jimenez. This retaliation reportedly included threats regarding his bonuses and attempts by Parajon to bribe other employees into making false accusations against him. In January 2025, after submitting another complaint detailing ongoing harassment and expressing concerns for his safety at work, Owolabi was suspended and subsequently terminated from his position.

The lawsuit asserts violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 due to sexual harassment and retaliation. Owolabi seeks compensatory and punitive damages under various U.S.C sections including §1981a for emotional distress and lost wages. He also demands back pay, front pay, litigation costs, attorney’s fees, pre-judgment interest, and any other relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Tobiloba Owolabi are attorneys Destiney Randolph and Christopher B. Hall from Hall & Lampros LLP based in Atlanta. The case is presided over by Judge LMM-LRS with Case ID: 1:25-cv-07357-LMM-LRS.
