Franklin King has filed a lawsuit against Nature Planet, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, alleging racial discrimination and retaliation in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1981. King claims he was subjected to a hostile work environment and treated differently than his Caucasian coworker, leading to his wrongful termination. The complaint seeks declaratory relief, compensatory and punitive damages, back and front pay, as well as attorneys’ fees and costs.

King’s attorney, Jeremy Stephens from Morgan & Morgan, P.A., filed the case on September 12, 2025. The plaintiff argues that his complaints about racially offensive comments made by the CEO and disparate treatment were not addressed by the company, resulting in retaliatory termination.
