In a recent court filing, Jasma Boykin has lodged a complaint against Chipotle Services, LLC, alleging racial discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. §1981. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on October 3, 2025. Boykin claims that after being hired as a full-time crew member at Chipotle’s Grayson location, she experienced reduced work hours compared to her Hispanic colleagues following her complaints about racial discrimination. Despite raising these concerns with management and filing a formal complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Boykin alleges that her work hours continued to be limited as an act of retaliation.
The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages for lost wages and emotional distress, punitive damages, litigation costs, and attorney fees. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jesse L. Kelly.
