In a recent court filing, Jeffrey Magana has initiated a lawsuit against DataSeers Inc., accusing the company of discriminatory employment practices under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Magana, who served as the chief human resources officer at DataSeers from 2022 to mid-2024, alleges that he was wrongfully terminated after challenging the company’s approach to employees seeking medical accommodations. The complaint details how DataSeers’ leadership allegedly instructed Magana to find reasons to terminate employees requiring medical leave and later targeted him when he faced his own health crisis. Magana is seeking economic damages, compensatory damages for emotional distress, and attorneys’ fees.
