In a recent decision by the Court of Appeals of Georgia, Daniel Edward Culverson’s appeal against his conviction for invasion of privacy and sexual battery against a child under 16 was denied. The Superior Court of Decatur County had previously found Culverson guilty based on evidence that included testimonies from the victims, who were minors at the time. They accused Culverson of using a camera to spy on them while they showered and making inappropriate physical contact. Despite Culverson’s denial and claims that the accusations were retaliatory, the court upheld the jury’s verdict, finding sufficient evidence to support the convictions. Additionally, Culverson’s objections regarding jury procedures and claims of cumulative trial errors were dismissed.
