In a significant legal move, a former employee has taken her previous employer to court over allegations of disability discrimination and retaliation. On February 3, 2026, Niyah Green filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against The Results Companies LLC, operating as ResultsCX. This lawsuit highlights critical issues regarding workplace accommodations for employees with disabilities.
The case centers around Green’s claim that The Results Companies LLC failed to provide reasonable accommodations for her visual impairment, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA). Green, who is legally blind and relies on assistive technologies like screen reading programs JAWS and ZoomText, applied for a remote position with the company in June 2025. Despite disclosing her need for these technologies during the application process and being assured by Chelsea Ford from the Talent Acquisition Team that such accommodations would be made, Green faced numerous hurdles once employed. According to the complaint, despite multiple follow-ups and assurances from Ford and Elisha Smith, Defendant’s Leave Administrator, Green never received a work-issued computer equipped with the necessary software.
Green’s situation echoes past allegations against The Results Companies LLC. In September 2024, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit against them for similar violations under Titles I and V of the ADA. That case resulted in a Consent Decree mandating that the company refrain from discriminatory practices against visually impaired employees and ensure reasonable accommodations are provided. However, Green alleges that these obligations were not met in her case.
As per the filing, after persistent attempts to resolve the accommodation issue internally failed, Green was abruptly terminated on September 5, 2025. She received an automated email indicating her employment had ended without any prior communication or explanation from her supervisors or HR representatives at The Results Companies LLC.
Green’s lawsuit accuses her former employer of failing to accommodate her disability and retaliating against her by terminating her employment when she sought necessary adjustments to perform her job effectively. She seeks compensatory damages for lost wages and benefits due to this alleged wrongful termination. Additionally, she requests punitive damages citing intentional discrimination and reckless disregard for federally protected rights under ADAAA.
The plaintiff demands reinstatement or front pay if reinstatement is impractical alongside non-economic compensatory damages for emotional suffering caused by this ordeal. Her legal representation is seeking costs related to litigation including attorneys’ fees as part of relief measures requested from court proceedings.
Representing Niyah Green are attorneys Destiney Randolph and Christopher B. Hall from Hall & Lampros LLP based in Atlanta. The case is presided over by Judge Thomas R. Jones under Case ID: 1:26-cv-00632-TRJ-CMS.
