Arden Tritt has taken legal action against her former employer, accusing them of disability discrimination and retaliation that led to her wrongful termination. On November 19, 2025, Tritt filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against The Frazer Center, Inc., a Georgia-based corporation. The lawsuit highlights the alleged failure of the company to accommodate Tritt’s disabilities and subsequent retaliatory actions that culminated in her dismissal.

The complaint outlines a series of events beginning with Tritt’s employment as a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher at The Frazer Center on October 7, 2024. Despite submitting documentation from her counselor regarding ADA-qualifying disabilities impacting her work attendance, Tritt claims she faced discriminatory practices. These included being forced to take unpaid leave despite having accrued paid time off and being subjected to stricter attendance scrutiny compared to non-disabled colleagues. Furthermore, Tritt alleges that she was excluded from training sessions without notice and was unfairly monitored through timeclock requirements not imposed on other teachers.

Tritt also accuses the center’s management of failing to engage in discussions about necessary accommodations for her disabilities, such as time off for medical appointments. She discovered unauthorized changes to her pay rate, which were not rectified despite raising concerns with management. Additionally, Tritt highlights broader issues within The Frazer Center regarding its treatment of disabled students and staff, citing instances where facilities were not accessible or inclusive.

In response to these grievances, Tritt seeks damages for lost wages and benefits due to the alleged wrongful termination and breach of contract by reducing her salary without notice. She also requests compensatory and punitive damages for failure to provide reasonable accommodation and disparate treatment based on disability. Moreover, she calls for injunctive relief prohibiting future discrimination by The Frazer Center against disabled employees.

Representing Arden Tritt is attorney E. Linwood Gunn IV from The Gunn Law Firm LLC based in Atlanta, Georgia. The case is filed under Case No. 1:25-cv-06641-SEG-JSA in front of judges SEG and JSA.
