In a recent decision by the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the conviction of Solomon Santana Noellien was upheld following his appeal against the Superior Court of Cobb County’s judgment. Noellien was convicted on multiple counts related to drug possession and intent to distribute, including methamphetamine, cocaine, methadone, alprazolam, and marijuana. The case stemmed from a 2016 investigation into suspected human trafficking or prostitution at a residence linked to Noellien. Upon executing search warrants, authorities discovered drugs and paraphernalia tied to Noellien in a bedroom he occupied. Despite his appeal arguing insufficient evidence for conviction based solely on presence at the crime scene, the court found ample circumstantial evidence connecting him to the crimes.
