She asserts that her dismissal was influenced by discriminatory practices following the appointment of a new Chief Judge at the City of Atlanta Municipal Court. The lawsuit seeks relief under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. § 1981. Juliano’s legal representation argues that she was replaced by a Black male who received a higher salary and that this decision was not only discriminatory but also violated standard hiring procedures.
