New procedures for court calendars will take effect on February 9, 2026, according to an announcement from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The updated procedures have been posted on the chambers’ pages of judges who oversee cases in Atlanta, Newnan, and Rome.

The changes include updates related to announcements that are submitted by email before a scheduled hearing. Those involved in cases are advised to review the new guidelines.

“Please take note of the changes regarding announcements submitted by email prior to a scheduled hearing,” said Vania S. Allen, Clerk of Court.

The court has made these updates available on its website for those who need further information.
