All divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to anticipated severe weather conditions.

According to Vania S. Allen, Clerk of Court, “Due to expected inclement weather, all Divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.”

The court provided guidance for matters scheduled that day. Hearings before Judge Paul W. Bonapfel and Judge Jonathan W. Jordan are postponed and will be rescheduled. Hearings with Judge Paul Baisier and Judge Jeffery W. Cavender will proceed as planned but will take place virtually using the court’s Virtual Hearing Room platform. The Clerk’s Office staff is available by phone and help desk from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
