In a recent court filing in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Willie Dixon has initiated a lawsuit against Stockton Maintenance Group, Inc. Dixon, an African American male and former Regional Director of the Georgia Division for Stockton Maintenance Group, alleges racial discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. §1981. The complaint outlines a series of discriminatory incidents allegedly perpetrated by company executives, including racially biased hiring practices and retaliatory actions following Dixon’s reports to management about these issues. Despite Dixon’s attempts to address these concerns internally, he claims that his employment was unjustly terminated as a result of his complaints. The lawsuit seeks damages for lost wages and emotional distress, along with punitive damages.
